How can I access early copies of the student newspaper, yearbooks and other student publications?

The college archives include materials in both print and electronic format. Some of these are campus publications, faculty and alumni files, photographs, scrapbooks, sound and video recordings, and architectural plans dating from the founding of the College in 1887 to the present. Physical copies of yearbooks can be found in the Ahmanson Reading room (main floor of the library, old wing) and some of the yearbooks have been digitized. Search either for La Encina or Occidental College Yearbooks in our library catalog.
