Does Oxy have Kanopy?

Yes we do! Go to Kanopy Streaming in our database list. Enter the name of the movie you want in the search box. At some point, you will be asked to enter your Oxy user ID and password. When you see the search results, mouse hover over the image for the movie or click on it. You will either see "Request Access" or "See More." For Request Access, you will be linked to a form to request access to the film. "See More" should take you to an option to stream the film immediately.
We have a limited number of "See More" movies. If this movie is for your personal viewing, then try Kanopy via the LAPL. They have free access to thousands of movies on Kanopy with your LAPL card. Don't have an LAPL card yet? Then follow these easy instructions! Important note: The movies from LAPL Kanopy should not be shown in a classroom or other large educational setting. If you need to show a movie in these settings, you must use Oxy Kanopy so that we can obtain the proper license for you. If you have any questions, please email library@oxy.edu
